A book that Black Women can be proud to read. Fiction,but the type of fiction that could make you a believer. A believer in the power of Sisterhood, a believer in the power of smart and fierce Black women. This book stretches the mind to imagine the power in each of us to make LARGE scale change in the world. I didn't know where this book was going but I'm so glad that I took the journey. I loved the complexity and the simpleness of the ladies of the Sisterhood. From desiring a better world to putting into motion the physical and mental energy to build that better world, to a very basic desire to have a home with children and a husband. I am my Sister's Keeper! the perfect phrase for this book. When and where will i find the next installment?
Exciting and fast-paced thriller with lots of very cool women (and their guys are always real stand up men full of brawn and brains...and loyal to their women as we all should be). The financial intrigues, fight scenes, strategies, and plot intrigue kept me reading this on my Kindle for the first part of a long flight. The women are all smart, tough, and loyal to one another (no dumb cat fight drama) and to their husbands and families. All while kicking ass and having adventures on the way. Highly recommend this book. Now where is the sequel?

great story,it was from a different perspective that I had not read before.I was totally into the characters,and the mystery of the "sisterhood" as it unfolded.I would recommend this book,especially to women as it gives you a different look at females in general.I also found that the story was well written,I've read a few books on Kindle and wonder if these authors have a spell check or someone to read these books before publishing. I was pleasantly delighted when I found only one error in Ms.Bradford's story.Kudos Nichol Bradford for writing an insightful,intelligent novel.More Please!!!!
I don't think I've ever read a book quite like this. On one hand, you've got an action filled thriller of global politics, motorbikes, drug lords, large explosions and some brutal killings. On the other hand, you've got a futuristic tech startup world and some interesting takes on building a global scale business. Thirdly, the characters in the book all come with their stories - their sufferings, their hardships and their losses which have given them strength and courage but also forced sacrifice. Finally, beyond all it is a powerful social commentary of women of color's position in society, and the barriers that meet them. How the author has managed to put all of this in one narrative - and keep focus and suspension - is beyond me.As a white girl in the frontier tech world I not only couldn't put the book down, but it also left me incredibly empowered. I can only imagine what this book would do for any woman of color trying to make a dent in the universe.(Or for any white male tech executive wondering just what it might be like to not be born with all of the privilege)
