I have read most of Cari's Silverwood books, but this one was a bit different. It wasn't as dark as some of her other books. It doesn't mean that this book isn't good, because it is.This series would make a great tv series. There are aliens; good ones and bad ones and the good ones are very hot. There are kickass heroines, who all haver their own strenghts. Then there is the fight to safe the planet and last but not least, some very steamy sex scenes. so If you love sci-fi, action and sexy you will love this book.
What to say about these books....if you like sci-fi with a bit of horror and lots of hot sex, then you really need to check out Preyfinders: The Trilogy. There's something evil lurking underneath the surface of the planet and the good folks of Earth know nothing about this. That's where the Preyfinders come in. It's their job to rid the Earth of the evilness that is wanting to take over. These aliens not only swoop in and kick some major butt, but they fall in love with these amazing, strong, and fierce Earth women, who when working together, put Xena to shame. If you love Silverwood's other works, then you don't want to miss out on this fantastic series she has created. I found myself totally lost in these books and fell in love and very attached to the characters.
This is a collection of the 1st 3 Preyfinders books by this author. I really enjoyed reading these 3 books. The characters were developed in the 1st book and expanded in the next 2 along with new characters added. the story line also started in 1st book and continued across other 2. The characters were believable in the setting. It is a paranormal romance setting in the future. There is shades of bondage, BDSM and other Kinky type sex scenes. Some very descriptive language is used. The 3 books kept my attention and I would definitely recommend this collection to adult readers.
I have waited some time to find the right series to start my Cari Silverwood addiction and Preyfinders: The Trilogy is it.

4.5 brilliantly executed stars from me. I was lucky enough to get a copy of this from NetGalley for review.These were just my second time reading this author and the stories did not disappoint. Crossing the divide between Earth and Space, the Preyfinders get a chance to find a pet after proving themselves in battle and to ensure the people of earth can be starfarers, engaging in the ongoing battle against the Bak-lal and their queens. Of course, nothing is that easy and they soon realise that the women they have chosen are more than just pets and rapidly become bondmates.With cleverly crafted story-lines, I believe you must read these in order to get the full effect of the books and of the warriors who have met their match, although they can be read as standalones. Each story builds on the next and we see the overarching storyline, and how the women all link back to each other and their strengths are realised.The first story is more of novella and introduces to a few of the characters that stay on throughout, but is mainly the story of Brittany and Jadd. While the second is about Stom and Willow, but we also meet Ally whose story is told partly in this and in the final book, we also see the beginning of the relationship of talia and Brask, while the third book ties up the whole trilogy and we get Brask and Talia, with a little surprise thrown in and also Ally's story. There is quite a lot happening and I found it best to just treat these as one big story instead of individual titles.Be warned there is a bit of dub-con going on in this book, lots of sex, withches, strange creations from the Bak-lal queen and a bit more to throw your head in a spin. However it's all worth it and if you want a little sci-fi with your romance, thrown in with a bit of BDSM then yep start reading.Totally rocked it, will definitely be looking at the other works from this author
Step into the futuristic world of Igrakk Warriors, Ascend and Factory Queens in Cari Silverwoods sci-fi world of The Preyfinders. It’s full of action, intrigue, suspense, and kink.Yiou can now read the three books in the Preyfinders series Precious Sacrifice, Intimidator and Defiler in this one complete volume.It is hard to pick out my favourite book within this triology they are all unique and brilliant in their own way. I love the way Ms Silverwood draws the reader in with a nail biting storyline with strong female characters and alpha males that would want you to find a Preyfinder of your own but if I had to pick one I think Defiler would be my favorite I think the Ascend God D would have something to do with that with a certain roof top scene.Without giving anything away and ruining the stories for you this triology is about four earth women , Brittany,(Precious Sacrifice) Willow(Intimidator) Talia(Defiler) and Ally (Defiler) each of them have their own individual story as well as the common threat of a war with the Bak La that run through the three books they need to come together to save the planet from complete destruction and end the Bak-La war that concludes in Defiler.Will they save Earth from doom? Or will the Factory Queen win?Unfortunately this series ends in Defiler but I can see how the Preyfinders world could be extended as there is so much scope to extend the series.I would highly recommend this book to those who love a good well written story, with a well executed and intense storyline that will leave you craving more of the Preyfinders It is action packed from the start of Precious Sacrifice to the very last sentence in Defiler and it's so hot you'll need numerous showers after reading. So lock the doors, put on the kettle and hide until you've finished You won't be able to put it down and if you do it'll be to grab your partner or to look online to see if you can buy some nano chem
