I really liked this well written book. Princess Alexandra thinks she has to prove her worth as a photographer outside of her title. Her greatest dream is to work alongside Jaques the famous photographern who travels the world photographing amazing things. With her brother's help she becomes Alex Turner and is able to get a place in Jaques photography class. She has changed her appearance, but will it be enough to fool Theo, Prince of Valdoria who's suit she rejected. This proves trying when she discovers this portrait class will take place in Valdoria. Will her work be good enough to be assigned a royal or will she simply be working the crowds with the rest of the class? Some intrigue is here as well as romance and personal growth. This is a sweet, clean romance I would recommend to readers of royal romnce.
I really liked the premise of this story. I love the world it was written in. My problem is that too much is tried to be put into the book. With so much happening many items get rushed or passed over and thus seem irrelevant in the bigger picture -the hero/heroines storyline. I wish that the author would have eliminated some of this 'extra' scenes so that we could have gotten more of Alex and Theo. All in all, I liked the world and I adored some of the secondary characters enough to pick up their books when written.
This book is a harder one to review for me. I absolutely loved the premise of the book and the way it began and started. Our two main characters, Alex and Theo, have great chemistry and depth, and I really enjoyed the romantic tension between them. I loved Alex’s drive to be the best based on her own merit, and Theo has such a drive to be and do the best for his family and country.That being said, there was much I felt was rushed or left unsolved/untold in the story. One of the main reasons Alex turned Theo down in the past was explained but never solved or even addressed later on. There are also other characters that have a past relationship with Alex (not a good one), who become a larger part of this story and yet we are never privy to exactly what that past is. The ending felt way too rushed and quick- much was left unresolved. It just felt like the author didn’t complete the story and left parts out- which would have made this a much better book.
Although I have read and liked several books about royalty and romance, it is not a genre I typically gravitate to. However, I picked up The Noble Heir after I saw it advertised as free and gave it a try this week.I. Loved. It!For me, this book had a little something extra that made it thoroughly enjoyable to read and hard to put down. I fell in love with the main characters and their story, and I am eagerly awaiting future books in this series! (Can't wait to see what happens with Theo's brothers!) Until then, I'm going to go pick up some of Ms. Keanini's previous books.
Alexandra Torre of Litiana and Prince Theo wanted to date her, but turned him down . Later Alex went to America to school and changed her name, dyed her hair, and added black glasses. Her study was photography. Jacque was her teacher and Jacque had a contest for photographers to join him in photos of the family of Theo. Only 10 photographers would be chosen. Alexander was one those chosen and was assigned to photo and follow Prince Theo. A lot happens in the story. Theo is to marry Elise. Read the Nobel Heir.
I picked this book up based on the recommendation of other books I've purchased. Wasn't sure about the author, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Turned out to be a really fun read. One of the best books I've read recently. Well written, but I especially enjoyed the royal plot. Liked the book well enough that I will now purchase her other books and can't wait to read more in this series!!! Hope she has some lined up so we don't have to wait too long between books!
I loved the characters,but wanted both the prince and the princess to just own their feelings and get to the happily ever after. Of course, the book would not have had such a satisfying ending without all the problems in between. Well done.
I enjoyed this book very much! This is my first book by this author and I am definitely looking forward to more. I have bought the rest of this series and will be starting book 2 right now!
