I enjoy travel planning and reading about travel planning. I don't care if I know most of the tips in the book, but I do want a well written book that has a bit of substance. This book has that. It was well edited and well written. There is a substantial amount of info. I learned a few thing, agreed with the author on a some points, and disagreed on a few things. The reason for 4 stars is that the author repeated some of the same info in multiple places, and even though the book isn't that old, a few things were out of date. But overall this is one of the best values I've found and I enjoyed reading it while looking forward to my next cruise.
I learned the etiquette of tipping. I learned a lot about boarding and leaving a cruise and how to find a good cruise to do these on. I was warned of the hazards of some ports and scams of some cruises being offered. All and all very handy information. I'm very pleased to have this information.
This book is an awesome way to make traveling plans for cruising & finding it at a low affordable price, it describes the great things about cruising & describes the benefits of cruising and also helps you figure out whether your the cruising type of person or not. If you have never cruised before this book describes of the great things about cruising, you have to read the book & see it for yourself, how it strategically explains ways and supplies you with information on great ways to go on a cruise without worrying too much of the cost, you'd actually be saving money. If your planing on making arrangements on cruising in the near future I recommend you read this first, it will help you especially if your a first timer.
I wish that I had been able to read this book before I took my first cruise five years ago. I have taken more than ten cruises since then and I still find this book to be useful, entertaining and insightful. It is a must for first time cruisers.
This book is easy to read and easy to use, yet it covered so many aspects of cruising that I have never considered before. I'm surprised to find something this good that is written for the Kindle.I live in Florida and have been on a couple of cruises and would love to do more. I have already tried a couple of things in this book and I'm amazed at how cheap some cruises can be.Sign me up as a fan of this book. If you are interested in cruising, I can't recommend it highly enough.
